Enhanced chain security and quieter shifting for gravel riding

With its integrated chain stabilizer the SHIMANO GRX rear derailleur delivers quieter shifting, better ground clearance and more secure chain management in rough terrain.

The RD-RX822 is compatible with 10-45T, 10-51T 12-speed SHIMANO MTB cassettes, and the chain tensioner has an ON/OFF switch for easy wheel removal.

Features:

  • Low profile Shadow Plus design 12-speed rear derailleur for fast and precise shifting performance
  • Shadow Plus uses a chain stabilizing switch that, when on, will reduce chain bounce in rough terrain, maintaining more stable drive and shifting
  • High-tolerance cold forged aluminium link plates and body construction is extremely light and durable
  • Compatible with 12-speed Hyperglide Plus chains
  • Wide gear ratio compatible up to:
  • 10-45T
  • 10-51T (for GS or SGS cage respectively)
  • For use with single chainset
