Halo Carbaura RC50 RS2 Supadrive Wheelset

Halo Carbaura RC50 RS2 Supadrive Wheelset is designed to deliver top-notch performance with a stylish look. The updated finish and Chrome decals ensure these wheels not only perform well but also look impressive.

These wheelsets feature an aerodynamic profile, refined through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and are built with a carbon fibre frame. The focus is on keeping weight low while ensuring linear compliance and lateral stiffness.

The Halo Carbaura RC50 RS2 Supadrive Wheelset includes:

  • 19mm internal and 25mm external rim width
  • Compatibility with both traditional and tubeless tyres
  • Suitable for tyre widths from 25c to 35c

For improved braking and rim durability, especially on steep descents, the braking surface features a 1.5k weave. This design helps in dissipating heat effectively, reducing temperature build-up.

Handcrafted with lightweight bladed aero spokes, these wheelsets are designed to minimise resistance. The widely spaced hub flanges help reduce lateral flex and enhance power transfer. The rear wheel uses a 16/8e lacing pattern to balance spoke tensions, while the front wheel employs radial lacing to cut down on weight and drag.

The RS2 Front and RS2 Supadrive hubs are equipped with fully sealed bearings, ensuring durability throughout the year. With 120 points of engagement, these hubs provide quick response, whether you’re accelerating out of a corner or starting from a stop.

Each wheelset comes with SwissStop Black Prince brake pads for optimal braking performance.
