Product Description

Crafted with input from professional riders, mechanics, and scientists, Peaty’s Tubeless Rim Tape is designed specifically for bicycle rims. This tape boasts high tensile strength and features a unique adhesive that sticks firmly but is easy to remove without leaving a mess.

The tape’s optimal stretch and sturdy recyclable core make it easy to apply with tension, ensuring a snug fit around your rim. If you have trouble locating the valve hole, the semi-transparent finish of Peaty’s Rim Tape will help you find it by letting light through.

Available in 9-metre and 50-metre rolls, this tape comes in four widths: 21mm, 25mm, 30mm, and 35mm.

Coverage

One 9-metre roll will cover approximately:

  • 5 x 26″ Rims
  • 4 x 27.5″ Rims
  • 4 x 29″ Rims
  • 4 x 700c Rims

One 50-metre roll will cover approximately:

  • 27 x 26″ Rims
  • 22 x 27.5″ Rims

Fitting Instructions

  1. Remove tyre and any old rim tape.
  2. Clean and degrease the rim thoroughly.
  3. Ensure the rim is completely dry before application.
  4. Start at least 10cm before the valve hole. Press the tape firmly into the centre of the rim and smooth out to the edges, removing any trapped air.
  5. Run the tape around the rim, maintaining tension, and allow for at least a 10cm overlap when cutting.
  6. Use a small spike to pierce the tape in the centre of the valve hole.
  7. Remove the dust cap and push the valve through the valve hole.
  8. Apply the lock ring tightly by hand, ensuring there are no air gaps.
  9. Refit the tyre, add Peaty’s Tubeless Sealant, and inflate the tyre.
  10. Ride!
