The Wheels Manufacturing 6001, 6801, and 6901 sealed bearing extractor is an essential tool for any cyclist looking to maintain their bike. Whether you’re replacing old bearings or just need a reliable spare, this tool is designed to make the process straightforward.

Features

  • Genuine Wheels Manufacturing spare or a great tool on its own
  • Requires the correct size extractor, 8mm & 10mm wrenches for small extractors, or 13mm and 17mm wrenches for large extractors, along with a hammer and punch
  • Extractor fits snugly into the inner diameter (I.D.) of the sealed bearing
  • Place extractor into I.D. of sealed bearing until it seats flush with the shoulder of the extractor
  • Tighten nut with wrench while securing extractor with another wrench until firmly in place
  • Align a punch with the back side of the extractor and gently tap until the bearing is removed
  • Install new sealed bearings with a Wheels Mfg PRESS-1 (rear hub & bbs) or PRESS-2 (front hub)
